The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Jugsalai P.S. Case No. 28 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 21(c) and 22(c) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 27(b)(ii) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 pending in the court of learned Special Judge, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case and the petitioner has nothing to do with the recovery of Codeine Phosphate and Triprolitine Hydrochloride syrup. He submits that the petitioner was working in the Ranchi branch of Bolbum Transport Company however, recovery has been made from Jamshedpur branch. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be allowed. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that for the Onrex cough syrup, the money has been credited in the Account of this petitioner. He also submits that prayer for anticipatory bail of other co-accused person has been rejected by this court in A.B.A. No.4744 of 2026. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected. 5. Considering that 479.60 Kg cough syrup having Codeine Phosphate have been recovered from the said Company and the petitioner 2026:JHHC:25498 is said to be one of the partners of the said transport firm and moreover, investigation against this petitioner is still pending, and prayer for anticipatory bail of other co-accused person has been rejected by this court in A.B.A. No.4744 of 2026 and further there are parameters for granting anticipatory bail or regular bail in the matters arising out of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, in the attending facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.
