1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, notwithstanding the petitioner's acquittal in the criminal case, the respondents, without any justifiable cause or reason, have been unnecessarily interfering with his liberty and repeatedly summoning him to the Police Station. It is further submitted that, despite the petitioner having approached the senior police authorities for redressal of his grievance, no effective action has been taken, compelling him to invoke the writ jurisdiction of this Court seeking protection of his liberty.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the competent authority to consider and appropriately redress the grievance projected by him in the writ petition.
6. Having regard to the nature of the grievance projected and the submissions made at the Bar, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is
disposed of at the admission stage with a direction to the SSP Poonch, to treat the present writ petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and consider the grievance projected therein, strictly in accordance with law.

The SSP Poonch, shall, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if considered necessary, pass a reasoned and speaking order thereon as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a copy of this order, along with the writ petition, is made available to the said authority.

Disposed of accordingly, along with all connected application(s), if any.
