Learned counsel for the applicant submits that he does not wish to press the present anticipatory bail application and seeks permission to withdraw the same on the ground that, against the rejection order the applicant’s application for anticipatory bail, a statutory appeal is maintainable under the provisions of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant accordingly prays for permission to withdraw the present anticipatory bail application with liberty to avail the appropriate statutory remedy. 4.
