This first anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the applicant, who is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No. 07/2026 registered at Police Station – AJAK Janjgir District- Janjgir-Champa (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Sections 69, 115(2), 296 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 R/w Section 3(2) (v-a) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that he does not wish to press the present anticipatory bail application and seeks permission to withdraw the same on the ground that, against the rejection order the applicant’s application for anticipatory bail, a statutory appeal is maintainable under the provisions of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Learned counsel for the applicant accordingly prays for permission to withdraw the present anticipatory bail application with liberty to avail the appropriate statutory remedy.
4. Permission is granted.
5. Accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to avail the remedy of appeal in accordance with law.
