JUSTICE S VISHWAJITH SHETTY ORAL ORDER The petitioner who is apprehending arrest in Crime No.64 of 2026 registered by Jigani Police Station, Bengaluru for offence punishable under Section 80 of BNS, 2023 is before this Court, in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS 2023 seeking anticipatory bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.64 of 2026 was registered by Jigani Police Station, Bengaluru for the aforesaid offence against Praveen Kumar and Chandavva who are the brother and mother of the petitioner herein. Apprehending - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31683 CRL.P No. 6640 of 2026 arrest in the said case, petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.No. 5171 of 2026 before the jurisdictional Sessions Court, which was rejected on 15.04.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. The learned Additional State Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that notice was issued to the petitioner during the course of investigation only for the purpose of production of certain articles. She submits that after completing investigation charge-sheet is now filed as against accused Nos.1 and 2 and the petitioner is not arraigned as an accused in the charge-sheet, which is filed in Crime No.64 of 2026 and therefore, the apprehension of the petitioner does not survive. 5.
