Vivek Singh Thakur, Judge Cr.MP (M) No. 2664 of 2025 alongwith Cr.MPST No. 10295 of 2025 and Cr.Ast(A-DB) No. 9511 of 2025 Learned Deputy Advocate General has submitted that the
judgment dated 18.1.2025 passed in Sessions Trial No. 11/2018 passed by Additional Sessions Judge-II Solan, titled as State of Himachal Pradesh Vs. Vipin @ Sweety and others, proposed to be assailed in present proceedings, has already been assailed by the State by filing Criminal Appeal No. 523 of 2025, titled as State of H.P. Vs. Vipin @ Sweety and 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment? Yes
2 Cr. MP (M) No. 2664 of 2025 others and the said appeal is pending adjudication in this Court, next date wherein has been fixed for 6.4.2026.
2. It has been further submitted that due to inadvertent mistake on receiving two certified copies of the impugned judgment, present proposed appeal has been filed alongwith application, assailing the same
judgment again and, therefore, he has instructions to withdraw present application alongwith proposed application for leave to appeal as well as appeal.
3. Accepting the prayer of learned Deputy Advocate General present application ((Cr.MP (M) No. 2664 of 2025) alongwith proposed application for seeking leave to appeal (Cr.MPST No. 10295 of 2025) as well as appeal (Cr.AST(A-DB) No. 9511 of 2025) are permitted to be withdrawn, as prayed.
