Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned HCGP appearing on behalf of respondent - State. 3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner who was earlier arrested in the present case was enlarged on regular bail and subsequently he had not appeared before the trial Court and therefore coercive steps are taken against him by the said Court to secure his - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31290 CRL.P No. 8765 of 2026 presence. Anticipatory bail application filed by the petitioner before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl. Misc. No. 5154/2026 was rejected on 28.03.2026. 4. Taking into consideration the aforesaid aspects of the matter, I do not find any illegality or irregularity in the said order. Once an accused who is arrested in a case has been granted regular bail, his subsequent application in the very same case for grant of anticipatory bail cannot be maintained.
