Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Mr. Irla Sivarama Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the 3rd respondent and his police personnel are calling the petitioners to 3 Dr. YLR, J W.P.No.12827 of 2026 Dated 05.05.2026 the police station and threatening them to settle the civil dispute with respondent Nos.4 to 6 without following due process of law. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, submits that the police have never interfered in the civil disputes pending between the petitioners and the unofficial respondents. 5. Having regard to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police not to call the petitioners to the police station unnecessarily and not to interfere henceforth in the civil disputes pending between the petitioners and the unofficial respondents, without following due process of law. However, in the event any crime is registered against the petitioners, the Investigating Officer shall proceed strictly in accordance with law, and the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation in that regard. 6. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _________________________ DR. Y.
