Romesh Verma, Judge (Oral): It is contended by the learned Additional Advocate General that the petitioners are seeking parity in terms of the judgment passed in CWP No. 2056 of 2023, titled Ghanshyam Dass vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & others, decided on 21.03.2024. 2. Today, he has placed on record the copy of the order dated 17.08.2026 as passed by the Hon’ble Division Bench in LPA No. 295 of 2026, titled State of Himachal Pradesh & others vs. Ghanshyam Dass & others, whereby the order as passed by the Hon’ble Single Judge in CWP No. 2056 of 2023 has been ordered to be stayed. 3. Consequently, the present petition is ordered to be closed with liberty reserved to the petitioners that in case the grievances of the petitioners still remain unredressed, after the disposal of the letters patent appeal, the petitioners shall be at liberty to revive the instant petition.
