Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. Although there was an allegation that the victim was abducted by the petitioner and others, the victim was recovered on the same day. No injury was purportedly inflicted. Co-accused persons were granted anticipatory bail. Learned State Advocate strongly opposes the bail prayer. He relies on the recovery memo by which the victim was recovered by the police from the clutches of the miscreants. He also relies on the statement of the witnesses including that of the victim and the injury report. Considering the serious nature of the allegations and the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the accused/petitioner. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, dismissed. ( Jay Sengupta, J. )
