Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State seeks permission to file show cause.
3. Let the show cause filed on behalf of the State be kept on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that substantial compliance of the judgement dated 31.08.2024 passed in W. P. (S) No. 5737 of 2019 by this Court has been done. It is submitted that petitioner has been given revised pay scale and his pension has been fixed also on the basis of enhanced pay scale and as such, necessary order may be passed.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that the judgement dated 31.08.2024 passed in W. P. (S) No. 5737 of 2019 by this Court has been complied with and necessary direction has also been issued to the competent authority and for which, a show cause has been filed.
6. Para-8, 9, 10 and 11 of the show cause filed by the opposite party no. 2 is being quoted herein:-
Para-8:- That it is stated that the arrears of salary amounting

to Rs. 1,86,658/- have been paid to the petitioner through Bill No. 96/2025-26, and the said amount has been duly credited into the petitioner's Account No. 2487000100065810.
Para-9:-That it is stated that the proposal for grant of the 3rd Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) of the petitioner was forwarded by the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Medium Irrigation Project, Deoghar, vides Office Letter No. 29 dated 24.02.2026 for approval by the competent authority. Thereafter, the 3rd MACP was sanctioned in favour of the petitioner vide Departmental Order No. 2225 dated
13.05.2026.
Para-10:- That it is stated that consequent upon the approval of the 3rd MACP and after verification of the pay fixation by the Finance Department, the service book of the petitioner was forwarded to the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Medium Irrigation Project, Deoghar, vide Letter No. 2601 dated 05.06.2026.
Para-11:- That it is stated that accordingly, the outstanding amount of Rs. 2,17,614/- payable to the petitioner, for the period from 29.10.2013 to 31.05.2019, has been duly sanctioned and approved for payment vide office order no. 162 dated 11.06.2026.”
7. In view of submission made on behalf of the opposite party no. 2, the contempt proceeding is closed against the opposite party no. 2.
8. Thus, the instant Cont. Case (Civil) No. 340 of 2025 stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move before the Appropriate Forum for redressal of his grievances, if any dues remains in future.
