Chakravorty, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Accountant General (A&E). The issue involved in the writ petition is grant of retrospective promotion with financial benefit to the petitioner to the post of Professor with all consequential benefits with effect from 17.01.2006. Upon a communication dated 10.11.2025 having been placed before this Court on 11.12.2025 issued by the Director of Medical to the Office of Accountant General (A&E), Assam requiring the latter to issue pay slip of the petitioner for the period from 17.01.2006 to 14.11.2012 for releasing to him the arrear of his pay and allowances, the matter was adjourned. Today, when the matter is called, Mr. B. Chakravorty, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Accountant General (A&E) submits that requisite pay slip in respect of the petitioner with effect from 17.01.2006 has been issued vide No. GE11/D/15(VIII)GMC/25- 26/41129 dated 09.02.2026. A copy of the said communication along with the enclosures in support of the same as received by him from the office of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam, Maidamgaon, Page No.# 3/3 Beltoal, by a communication dated 11.02.2026 is kept on record and marked as “X”.
