The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 232 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 366 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He next submits that false allegations are made of taking the wife of the informant along with her ornaments. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be provided to the petitioner. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the witnesses have supported the prosecution case and the petitioner is not co-operating in the investigation. On this ground, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected. 5. In the FIR, there is direct allegation against this petitioner of taking the wife of the informant along with her ornaments on a bolero vehicle and further the allegations are also there of taking the [ 2026:JHHC:24721 ] -2- ornaments of other family members and further the petitioner is not co- operating in the investigation. 6. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, above named. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
