A copy of the bail petition with annexures is already served on Mr. Rizvi, learned counsel for the Vigilance Department. 2. Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No.11 of 2026 corresponding to V.G.R. Case No.8 of 2026 pending in the file of learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Cuttack on the grounds stated therein. 3. It is informed to the Court that the petitioner is ex- BEO-cum-DDO and pleads for release applying parity. Since the co-accused persons are on bail by a common order dated 25th June, 2026 in the ABLAPLs at Flag-B, this Court is inclined to extend parity to the petitioner as he is claimed to be similarly situated. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of. It is directed that in the event, the petitioner surrenders before the learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Cuttack in connection with Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No.11 of 2026 corresponding to V.G.R. Case No.8 of 2026 within a fortnight from today, he shall be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs.50,000/- (rupees fifty thousand only) with one solvent surety for the like amount and such other terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case besides the following, such as, he shall co-operate the IO in the investigation and not to leave the jurisdiction of the court below during such investigation without seeking its permission. In case, any of the conditions is/are violated, as further directed, it shall forthwith entail cancellation of the bail granted to him without reference to this Court. 6.
