Issue a writ or order in the nature of Certiorari quashing the order dated 27.11.2025 passed by the Assistant Commissioner and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Puttur in ACPTR-ADM No.MAG:50/2025-26 under Section 8 of the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020, which is produced at ANNEXURE-A, in the interest of justice and equity. B. Grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 3. What is challenged in the present petition is an order passed under Sub-Sections (4) and (5) of Section - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31103 WP No. 17438 of 2026 8 of the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020 (for short 'Act, 2020'). The Act provides for a statutory appeal under Section 10 of the 'Act, 2020'. 4. It is therefore for the petitioner to avail of the statutory remedy. When a statutory remedy is available, a writ petition would not be maintainable. 5. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to avail such appellate remedy, the petition stands disposed off.
