By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs : 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ by quashing the impugned Notice dated 25.6.2026 (Annexure P-1) including the proceedings of Motion for No- confidence. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the record from the court of Sub Divisional Officer Revenue for kind perusal of this Hon'ble court. 10.3 Any other relief, which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned notice dated 25.6.2026 is not in accordance with law, as the mandatory period of a clear 7 days’ notice was not provided to the concerned Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Bandha. As such, 4 the No Confidence Motion scheduled to be held on 30.6.2026 cannot proceed. 3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as also considering the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to adjourn the No Confidence Motion scheduled to be held on 30.6.2026. The concerned SDO(R) being the prescribed authority, is directed to convene the meeting for the No Confidence Motion on 3.7.2026. The time and schedule of the meeting shall remain the same as per the impugned notice dated 25.6.2026. Ordered accordingly. 4.
