Learned Central Government Counsel accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3. 2. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing Respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider and conclude, within a period of 15 days or within such time as this Hon'ble Court deems fit, the enquiry arising out of the Petitioner's complaint dated 03.05.2026 (dispatched on 04.05.2026) concerning the OCI registration obtained by Respondent No.4, by conducting such enquiry as may be necessary under Section 7D of the Citizenship Act, 1955, and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law vide Annexure-A. b. Pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice, equity and national security. 3. Sri.Aditya Singh, learned CGC submits that the relief, which has been sought for, is against respondent No.2, who is the Foreigners Regional Registration - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31106 WP No. 18663 of 2026 Officer (FRRO), Lucknow and as such, any proceedings would have to be filed before a Court having jurisdiction over the said FRRO. 4. He, however, submits that the representation of the petitioner having received by respondent No.3 has been forwarded to respondent No.2 for consideration and completion of the enquiry, which is pending. 5. His submission is placed on record. 6. In terms of the said submission, the petition stands disposed of. 7.
