JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present writ petition has been filed, challenging the proceedings in LGC(G)No.6147/2021 pending before the Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Special Court, Bengaluru, under the Provisions of Section 9(1) the Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Act, 2011. 2. The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation ('BMTC' for short), has filed an application before the Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Special - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17924-DB WP No. 5676 of 2026 Court under Section 9(1) of the Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Act, 2011, alleging that the Government had allotted 3 acres 14 guntas of land in Sy.No.300 of Hoskote Village, Hoskote Taluk, Hoskote Town, Bengaluru Rural District to the BMTC and the petitioner had illegally encroached on the said land about 24 ft x 40 ft i.e., 960 Sq ft belonging to the BMTC. After issuing notice, the petitioner has put in appearance, and charge was framed on 23.01.2024. The trial has commenced and summons has been issued to the witness- Sri.T.Venkatesh, Chief Law Officer, BMTC, Bengaluru. 3. At this stage the petitioner has approached this Court for quashing the proceedings. We find no reason to interfere with the ongoing trial, and therefore, we dismiss the writ petition.
