This writ petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers :- “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction, directing the Court of Learned Ist Additional Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), Dehradun to decide and conclude the proceedings of OS No. 354 of 2023, Jitendra Kumar & another Vs. Deewan Chandra, very very expeditiously, within the stipulated time, which this Hon'ble court deem fit and proper in facts and circumstances of the case. (ii) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon'ble High Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. (iii) To award cost of the petition to the Petitioners.” 2. Heard Mr. Rajendra Arya, learned counsel for 1 2026:UHC:1326 the petitioners. 3. Under the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Ist Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Dehradun is directed to make an endeavor to decide the Original Suit No. 354 of 2023 expeditiously. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case. 5.
