1. Heard.
2. This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this writ petition and be pleased to direct the respondent no.3 to accept the application for demarcation of the petitioner and demarcate the land within a period which may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. 2 10.2 That, if the Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper call the records pertaining to the petitioner’s case. 10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass any other order which may be deem fit and proper in favour of the petitioner.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application for demarcation of land bearing Khasra No. 1018/2, admeasuring 0.0730 hectare; Khasra No. 1028/1, admeasuring 0.0.0360 hectare; Khasra No.1398/2, admeasuring 0.0400 hectare; and Khasra No.1401/2 admeasuring 0.2020 hectare; situated at Village Kulikesa, P.H.N. 36, R.N.M. Bhulatola, Tahsil Khairagarh, District Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai. He further submits that though the application was submitted on 29.04.2026, the same has not been accepted by the concerned Tahsildar. As such, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking a direction to accept his application and to conduct the demarcation in accordance with law.
4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that there must be some reason why the application could not be accepted.
5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.
6. Since the application is required to be submitted before the concerned Tahsildar, the concerned Tahsildar is bound to accept it and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. The concerned Tahsildar cannot deny acceptance of any application. He is under an obligation to accept the application and decide the same in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and further considering the fact, as stated by the petitioner, petitioner is directed to approach before the concerned Tahsildar within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and the concerned Tahsildar is, in turn, directed to
3 accept the petitioner's application and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 30 days.
8. With this observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
9. Interlocutory application(s), pending if any, also stands disposed of. Sd/-
