Mr. P. P. Das Mr. Abhishek Verma ……for the State. Learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent of the charges and he is Assistant Sub- Inspector of police who has been foisted with the criminal case. It has been submitted that there has been no recovery from the petitioner and only on the statement of the co-accused the petitioner has been arrested and from an abandoned place narcotics were recovered. So far as the money with which the petitioner has been linked the same has been recovered from the father-in-law of a co- accused. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that charge-sheet has been submitted and there are accusations under Section 27A of the NDPS Act. 2 Having considered the subject matter involved in the present case, I am of the view that let the petitioner renew his prayer for bail after the stage of consideration of charges is over. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 29 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
