1. This is an office reference initiated on the request letter dated 05.06.2026 made by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Rajnandgaon for extension of time to conclude the trial of Criminal Case No. 3977/2023. It transpires in the order that on 06.10.2025, this Court while deciding the CRMP No. 3034/2025 directed the learned trial Court to conclude the proceeding of the Criminal Case No. 3977/2023 pending before it within six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order or from the next date of hearing whichever is later. The learned trial Court has forwarded its request letter for extension of time to conclude the trial of the case on the ground that certain disputes with respect to the original agreement was arose in the case and as many as 30 witnesses have been cited by the prosecution which will take its own time. It has also been observed that the counsel appearing for the accused persons are practicing in the High Court and they sought prayer for adjournment, therefore, the recording of the evidence of the prosecution’s witnesses is delayed.
2. Considering the request letter made by the learned trial Court, six months more time is granted to the learned trial Court to conclude the trial of the Criminal Case No. 3977/2023.
