Dey, Advocate ---- 2/10.02.2026 Heard learned counsels for petitioner and for State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Karra P.S. Case No.31 of 2025, for offence registered under section 115(2), 118(1), 109, 351(2), 351(3), 3(5) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned S.D.J.M., 1st Class, Khunti. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner and the informant are friends and on the fateful day they were having a feast and thereafter the altercation took place. He next submits that now a good sense has prevailed between them and they have compromised the matter and that has come in paragraph no.62 of the case diary. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegations are there of assault, and on the query made by the Court, learned counsel appearing for the respondent State fairly submits that the aspect of the compromise has come in paragraph 2026:JHHC:3480 2 no.62 of the case diary. 5. Considering that the petitioner and the informant are friends and now they have compromised the matter and that has come in paragraph no.62 of the case diary, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., 1st Class, Khunti, in connection with Karra P.S.
