B V APARNA LAKSHMI The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: The above contempt case was filed complaining of a violation of the order dated 23.08.2024, passed in W.P.No.18395 of 2024. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing on both sides. 3. The petitioner filed the aforementioned writ petition complaining that the respondents 4 & 5 i.e. the Mandal Parishad Development Officer and the Assistant Project Officer, are preventing the petitioner from performing her duties as Field Assistant in Kothapalli Kowrugunta Village, Dagadarthi Mandal, SPSR Nellore District. 4. The writ petition was disposed of on 23.08.2024. The operative portion of said order reads as follows: “Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the learned counsel, directing the respondent authorities not to interfere with the petitioner’s discharging duties as Field Assistant, without following due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.” 5. The contempt case was filed on 30.09.2024. 6. In the affidavit filed in support of the contempt case, it was pleaded that respondent has violated the order dated 23.08.2024. Page 3 of 4 7. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court that in pursuance of the order passed by this Court, the petitioner joined the duty on 28.11.2024. The Mandal Parishad Development Officer informed the same to the Project Director by a letter dated 30.11.2024. 8. Though learned counsel for the petitioner contends that respondent is not permitting the petitioner to discharge his duties as Field Assistant despite the letter dated 30.11.2024, no material has been placed before this Court to substantiate the said contention. 9. Thus, in the absence of any material, this Court does not find any violation of the order dated 23.08.2024, passed in W.P.No.18395 of 2024. 10. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No order as to costs.
