While placing on record communication dated 14.09.2026 issued under the signature of Superintendent Engineer, Jal Shakti Circle, Nurpur, which is taken on record, Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General states that final running bill No.12 amounting to Rs. 76,22,598/- was verified. He states that finalization of the amount could not be made and some more time is required for doing the same. He states that out of the verified amount, sum of Rs. 54,02,792/- stands paid to the petitioner and the remaining amount shall be paid expeditiously after due verification.

Having taken note of the fact that petitioner has been paid a substantial amount coupled with the fact that respondents are ready and willing to release the remaining amount within a reasonable time, this Court sees no reason to keep the present matter alive and as such, present petition is disposed of accordingly, with a direction to the respondents to ensure that the remaining amount, after due verification, is paid to the petitioner within a period of two months, failing which petitioner shall be entitled to approach this Court again. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of
