04/13.08.2026 Heard Mr. Mritunjay Chaudhary, learned counsel for the appellant and learned Spl. P.P. for the State. This appeal is directed against the order dated 24.06.2026 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Koderma in B.P. No. 184/2026, arising out of Jainagar P.S. Case No. 216 of 2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that the daughter of the informant was taken away by the appellant and one Mamta Devi to Rajasthan on the pretext of providing a job to her but subsequently she has been sold at Madhya Pradesh for an amount of Rs. 1,11,000/-. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that in the 180 of the B.N.S.S. statement no allegation has been levelled against the appellant but subsequently in her 183 of the B.N.S.S. statement she has stated about the appellant and Reena Devi having sold her at Madhya Pradesh to one Babhuti Das. Learned counsel submits that the appellant is in custody since 05.05.2026 and after completion of investigation charge-sheet has been submitted. Learned Spl. P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the appellant and the fact that charge-sheet has been submitted, we while setting aside the order dated 24.06.2026 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Koderma in B.P. No. 184/2026, arising out of Jainagar P.S. Case No. 216 of 2025, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Koderma in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No. 216 of 2025, subject to the condition that the appellant shall remain physically present before the learned trial court on each and every date till the conclusion of the trial, unless prevented by sufficient cause.
