2. The case set up by the petitioner is that he is working as Forest Guard in Wildlife Range, Bharmour, District Chamba, a tribal/difficult area. On completion of 5 years and 4 months of service at the aforesaid station, he preferred a representation on 08.07.2026 (Annexure P-1) to the respondents/competent authority seeking transfer to a place of his choice. But the aforesaid representation has not been considered and decided yet. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law and taking into consideration applicable transfer policy within a period of four weeks from today. Order so passed be communicated to the petitioner. Pending applications, if any, also stand
disposed of.
