05/20.08.2026 Both the A.B.As. are arising out of the same FIR and in view of that, both these applications have been heard together with consent of the parties.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners through Video Conferencing and learned counsel appearing for the State in respective cases.
3. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Chakulia P.S. Case No.30/2026, registered for the offence under Sections 221, 132, 308(2), 352, 351(2), 79 of the BNS, pending in the Court of the learned A.C.J.M., Ghatshila.

Learned counsel for the petitioners appearing through Video Conferencing submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case and there is no specific allegation against them. He further submits that

wife of the co-accused, namely, Kavita Saw, who is Up-Pramukh of Chakulia Prakhand has submitted a letter to the Block Development Officer, Chakulia on 13.03.2026, wherein, she has narrated certain irregularity to be committed by two Junior Engineers of 15th Finance Commission, namely, Harprasad Mahto and Ajay Kumar Mahto and a Junior Engineer of MNREGA, namely, Rajesh Kumar Raut and, thereafter, certain print media published the same in different newspaper dated 16.05.2026. He next submits that due to grudges against the petitioners, they have been falsely implicated in the case. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioners.

Learned counsel appearing for the State in respective cases opposed the prayer and submit that serious allegations are there against the petitioners of entering into the official chamber of the Block Development Officer and they have also demanded Rs.1 Lakh. They further submit that even Tullu Saw @ Tulu Shaw, who is petitioner in A.B.A. No. 4137 of 2026 is having four criminal antecedents. On these grounds, they submit that the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners may kindly be rejected.
6. In the FIR, it has come that Rs.1 Lakh was demanded. Further, the allegations are there that the petitioners have entered into the office of the Block Development Officer and misappropriated confidential documents as well as started making video. The petitioner in A.B.A. No.4137 of 2026, namely, Tullu Saw @ Tulu Shaw is having four criminal antecedents. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners

in both the A.B.As. and, as such, their prayer for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected.
