No.276/2025 now pending before the Court of LV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bangalore, arising out of Crime No.32/2024 registered by Halasurgate Police Station, Bangalore, for offences punishable under Sections 364, 302, 201, 120-B read with Section 34 of IPC, is before this Court in this - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31289 CRL.P No. 17190 of 2025 successive bail petition filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. Petitioner had earlier approached this Court in Crl.P.No.4711/2025 seeking regular bail and the said petition was dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to renew his bail application, after examination of the material charge sheet witnesses is completed before the trial Court. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though one year has lapsed after disposal of Crl.P.No.4711/2025, there is no progress in the case and the charges are yet to be framed in the case. 5. The order sheet of the trial Court reflects that S.C.No.276/2025 which was earlier pending before the Court of LXIII Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31289 CRL.P No. 17190 of 2025 Bangalore, has been re-allocated to the Court of LV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bangalore, by order dated 02.06.2026. 6. Under the circumstances, I am of the opinion that some reasonable time has to be granted to the said Court to frame charges and examine the material charge sheet witnesses. 7. Accordingly the following: ORDER The criminal petition is disposed of with a request to the trial Court to frame charges in S.C.No.276/2025 and examine material charge sheet witnesses as expeditiously as possible, but not later than a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, failing which the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh bail application on the ground of delay in trial Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE VP
