Ranjan Sharma, Judge: Petitioner, Rakesh Kumar, has filed CWP 9998 of 2013, which has been renumbered as CWPOA 2919 of 2019, seeking the following reliefs:- “It is therefore respectfully prayed that the present petition may kindly be allowed keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the averments made hereinabove in the writ petition and the respondents may be directed to transfer the petitioner to his home District after taking into account his representation Annexure P- decide the representation and reminder of the petitioner annexures P-4 by setting aside order annexure P-6, keeping in view the fact that petitioner is working 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes -2- on a post which is Distt cadre post and he applied and exercised his option for the post in Distt Una for which the advertisement was issued and for which the petitioner was got selected by the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Selection Board, Hamirpur respectively as also keeping in view the provisions of the transfer policy with a further directions to the respondents to issue the transfer order before 31st December, 2013 as the road thereafter would be closed to Lahaul & Spiti keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice.” 2. After issuance of notice, pleadings were exchanged inter-se the parties in the instant case. 3. Upon listing of the matter, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the claimed relief has been granted and the proceedings may be given a closure.
