Yudhbir Singh Vs. State of HP and Ors. CMP No.7275 of 2026 in Ex. Pet. No.7 of 2025 Item No.D-9 16.09.2026 Present: Ms. Madhurika Sekhon, Advocate, for the applicant/petitioner. Mr. Pranay Pratap Singh, Additional Advocate General, for the respondents/State. The present application has been filed seeking revival of the execution proceedings, which were disposed of on 16.09.2025 in Execution Petition No.7 of 2025, whereby it was observed that the petitioner had already been granted work-charge status with effect from 01.01.2005 and the matter had already been decided by the Apex Court in Civil Appeal No. 1595 of 2024, titled State of Himachal Pradesh and others vs. Surajmani and Anr., on 06.02.2026. The present application (CMP No.23663 of 2026) has been filed for placing on record the additional documents, and on that basis, it is contended that regularisation should also be granted. In our considered opinion, the same constitutes a separate and independent cause of action. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the non-grant of regularization, it shall be open to him to agitate the same by initiating fresh proceedings, in accordance with law, if permissible. The present applications stand disposed of. (G.S. Sandhawalia) Chief Justice (Bipin C. Negi) Judge 16th September, 2026 (Gaurav Rawat)
