The Panchayat is not represented despite service. The petitioner claims to be the recorded owner of the plot in question and alleges that the Pradhan, 3 No. Turka Gram Panchayat, being the 10th respondent herein, is trying to construct the pacca road by encroaching upon her land without serving any notice upon her and without acquisition of the said land. The petitioner submitted a representation before the concerned authority in this regard on April 21, 2026 and seeks consideration of the same. In view of the above, the Block Development Officer, Dantan-II Block, Paschim Medinipur, being the 5th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated April 21, 2026 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. No further construction shall be made on the petitioner’s land till disposal of the representation. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
