For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Abhay Kr. Chaturvedy, Advocate For the State : Mr. Nawin Kr. Singh, AddI. P.P.

02/ 21.08.2026: This bail application has been filed by the petitioner under Sections 483 and 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 80/3 (5) of BNS.
2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order.
3. Learned AddI. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
4. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by a reasoned order and trial is in progress.
5. The deceased died an unnatural death (hanging) in the house of this petitioner, who is the husband within two months of marriage. It is also noted in the earlier order that the witnesses from the vicinity have stated that the petitioner and the deceased always used to sprawl- brawl and have rucks between them.
6. Further, from the impugned order, I find that the trial is in progress and three procured witnesses have already been examined in this case. Thus, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No.83 of 2025 (S.T. No.368 of 2025), pending in
the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Chatra stands rejected.
7. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed.
8. The Trial Court to ensure procurement of the witnesses on regular interval and if possible, conclude the trial within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
