The petitioners have filed a revision petition being Revision Petition No.7/2020-2021, impugning the Demand Order dated 03.03.2020. The said revision petition is pending before the Revisional Authority. 2. The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to second respondent to call for the entire file of the first respondent including all the documents that are in its custody forming basis for issuance of the Demand Order dated 03.03.2020. The petitioners also pray that a direction be issued to conduct further hearings only after the documents, which are sought, are produced. 3. The present petition is premised on the basis that the revisional authority may conclude the revision without following the principles of natural justice. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29877-DB WP No. 16734 of 2026 4. The learned Additional Government Advocate on instructions submits that the petitioners have taken twenty-two (22) adjournments before the revisional authority and should be saddled with heavy cost. Further the petitioners have also been provided with certain documents. However, the petitioners submits that those documents are not the documents they had sought. 5. The petitioners' application before the revisional authority is pending, and the revisional authorities will consider the same in accordance with law. 6. In the event the petitioners are aggrieved by the final order passed by the revisional authority, the petitioners are not precluded from availing the remedies in accordance with law. We do not consider it apposite to entertain the petition regarding any procedural issues at this stage. 7. The practice of filing such writ petitions, which would effectively interdict the progress of main proceedings, must be discouraged. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29877-DB WP No. 16734 of 2026 8. In view of the above, we decline to entertain the present writ petition. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed with cost quantified at Rs.5,000/- (Five Thousand only) which shall be deposited before the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, Bengaluru (KSLSA) within a period of two weeks from date.
