Singh, Advocate …...... 02 /02.02.2026: In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: a) For issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions or a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to take decision in light of letter contained in memo no. 781 dated 15.03.2021 (Annexure 3) and extend benefit of 3rd MACP on account of completion of 30 years of service. AND (b) For a further writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondent authorities to pay revised pensionary benefits and arrears of revised financial benefits along with statutory interest on account of grant of benefits of 3rd MACP. 2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has not been granted the benefits of 3rd MACP nor the consequential benefits which he is entitled to as per the scheme. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioner files a detailed representation before the respondent no. 4-the Superintendent of Police, Ramgarh, his case will be considered and appropriate order will be passed. 2026:JHHC:2581 2 4. Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 4-the Superintendent of Police, Ramgarh who will consider the case of the petitioner. 5. The representation should be filed within four weeks and the decision should be taken within eight weeks thereafter. 6. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefits the same should be extended to the petitioner within the period of four weeks thereafter. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period. 7.
