[2] In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing parties, the present writ petition is disposed of at the motion stage itself. [3] It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has applied to the competent authorities of the State Government for considering her case for appointment against any suitable post commensurate with her educational qualification under the Die-in-Harness Scheme. When the authorities did not consider here case, the petitioner have approached the authorities repeatedly by filing several representations and one of the latest representations is dated 28.01.2025 addressed to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Thoubal District, Manipur with a request for considering her case for appointment under the Die-in-Harness Scheme. [4] It has been submitted by the learned counsel that the said representation is still pending for consideration and that the petitioner will be satisfied for the time being, if the present Page 3 writ petition is disposed of by directing the Senior Superintendent of Police, Thoubal District, Manipur (Respondent no. 3) to consider the said representation on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules/guidelines and to disposed of the same by issuing appropriate orders within a stipulated period. [5] Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is confined to consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by her, he has no objection in disposing of this writ petition as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. [6] Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions:- (i) The Respondent no. 3, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Thoubal District, Manipur is hereby directed to consider the aforesaid representation dated 28.01.2025 submitted by the petitioner on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable Page 4 rules/guidelines and disposed of the same by issuing appropriate order. (ii) The whole exercise should be completed within a period of 3(three) months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. (iii) It is made clear that the above direction has been issued without considering the merit of the present writ petition.
