Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.05.2026 in connection with Ghatshila P.S. Case No. 21/2026, registered under Sections 69 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), now pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghatshila.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and there was long relationship between the petitioner and the victim. It is alleged that the petitioner established physical relationship with the victim on the pretext of marriage. The case has already been committed.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that there is two weeks’ delay in lodging the FIR.

Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that as per the allegation, the petitioner forcibly and on the pretext of marriage, committed the alleged offence and subsequently, the victim came to know that the petitioner is a married person. He submits that the case under Section 69 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita is ex-facie made out.
6. After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the nature of allegation that the petitioner being a married person established physical relation with the victim on the pretext of marriage, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail

and hence, this bail application is rejected.
