By filing the present petition, the petitioner calls in question the inaction on the part of the respondents in not providing a certified copy of the demarcation report passed in Demarcation Case No.97/2013-14 by the Tahsildar, Raipur vide order dated 24.01.2014, despite submission of a representation dated 18.03.2026. The petitioner has prayed for following relief(s) :- “10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire records of the case. 10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and direct the respondent to provide the certified copy of demarcation report of Khasra No. 638/26 Patwari Halka NO. 45 R.N.Μ. 1 Tehsil Raipur, District Raipur (C.G.) vide order dated 24.01.2014 (Annexure P-1) passed by Tahsildar Raipur within stipulated time, in the interest of justice. 10.3 Any other relief deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be granted.” 2. Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that the certified copy sought by the petitioner pertains to Demarcation Case No.97/2013-14 and the relevant record is presently not available in the office of the concerned Tahsildar, as the same has already been transmitted to the Court of the Commissioner, Raipur Division, Raipur, where proceedings are stated to be pending. 3 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the Commissioner, Raipur Division, Raipur, by filing an appropriate application seeking certified copy of the documents in question. It is further submitted that a direction may be issued to the concerned authority to consider and decide such application expeditiously in accordance with law. 4. Considering the aforesaid submissions and upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the view that the grievance raised by the petitioner can appropriately be addressed by permitting the petitioner to avail the aforesaid remedy. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted liberty to file an appropriate application before the Commissioner, Raipur Division, Raipur, seeking certified copy of the relevant documents/record. In the event such an application is filed, the concerned authority shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law and shall make an endeavour to pass an appropriate order thereon/supply the certified copy of the documents within a period of 15 days from the date of filing of such application. 6.
