This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to correct the revenue records in compliance to the memo dated 17.12.2021 in pursuance to the judgment and decree dated 24.06.2010 passed in Civil Case No.294-A/04. 10.2 Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper may also be passed in favour of the petitioner together with cost of the petition.” DEEPTI JHA Digitally signed by DEEPTI JHA 2 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State on instructions from the concerned authorities and submits that the revenue records would be rectified within period of two months, in compliance to the memo dated 17.12.2021 (Annexure-P/5) in pursuance to the judgment and decree dated 24.06.2010 (Annexure-P/1) passed in Civil Suit No.294-A/04. 4. In view of above submission made by the learned State counsel, counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition may be disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent authorities to consider and decide the representation / application for mutation of name of the petitioner in the revenue records. 5. At this stage, learned counsel for the State submits that mutation has already been done, and if it has not been mutated, then it will be mutated within a period of two months. 6. I have heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused the material available on record carefully. 7. Considering the aforesaid submission made by the respective parties, respondent authorities are directed to mutate the name of the petitioner in the revenue records within a period of two months from the date of passing of this order, if it has not been already mutated. 8. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. 9. Interlocutory application(s), pending if any, also stands disposed of.
