The present MCC has been filed seeking restoration of WPS No.6981/2010, which was dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 03.12.2025. 4. Perusal of application (MCC) shows that earlier also the writ petition was dismissed for non-prosecution on 18.06.2021, thereafter, the applicant filed a restoration application (MCC No.1076/2025), which was allowed by this Court on 27.10.2025 and writ petition was restored to its original number, however, again the writ petition was dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 03.12.2025. Hence, this application. 5. Upon due consideration of the ground shown in the application, I am inclined to restore the writ petition (WPS No.6981/2010). 6. Accordingly, the present MCC is allowed. It is directed that the writ petition be restored to its original number, subject to the applicant depositing a cost of Rs.5,000/- before the High Court Legal Services Authority within ten working days from today.
