After arguing the matter at some length, Mr. F. S. Butt, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, when confronted with the question of maintainability of the instant writ petition in view of the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in “Union Territory of J&K and Ors. v. Saba Wani”, sought permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail such other remedy as may be available to the petitioner under law. 2. Accordingly, the present writ petition, along with all connected application(s), is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 3. At this stage, Mr. F. S. Butt, learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner intend to approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court for seeking clarification of the judgment rendered by the Hon’ble Apex Court. Accordingly, while dismissing the present writ petition as withdrawn, liberty is reserved in favour of the petitioner to approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court for seeking such clarification, if so advised and permissible under law.
