Ibrar Alam, who is in custody in connection with Karra P.S. Case No. 69 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 25(1-B)a/25(6)/26/35 of the Arms Act pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Khunti, is pressed into motion. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that as per the prosecution case, one country made pistol with eight live cartridges was seized from the petitioner and another country made pistol with three live cartridges was seized from the physical possession of the co-accused. It is submitted that the procedure as required for search and seizure, has not been followed and this petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Other co- accused persons have been granted bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Petitioner is languishing in custody since 03.09.2025. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
