The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: "a) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 10.09.2026 filed by the petitioner and to initiate necessary action on it, vide Annexure-D; - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30448 WP No. 17365 of 2026 b) Issue a writ or direction, directing 2nd respondent to consider the Representation dated 10.09.2026 Annexure-D submitted by the petitioner and to initiate action by registering the complaint and also extending the protection to the land held by the petitioner herein, below described more-fully in the schedule, vide Annexure-B; and c) Issue such other writ, order or direction as deems fit in the circumstances of the case and allow the above writ petition with costs, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Essentially the petitioner is seeking for police protection against his neighbour from interfering with his possession. The Police protection cannot be granted in such circumstances. The dispute between the petitioner and neighbour being civil in nature, the civil remedies are available to the petitioner as may be available. 3. Reserving such liberty, petition stands disposed of.
