Learned AGA accepts notice for respondent No.1. 2. Sri M. Ajaykumar, learned counsel accepts notice for respondent No.2. 3. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following relief: "a) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or directions to consider the representation dated 27.03.2026 vide Annexure-J and direct the respondents to allow updation and submission of claims by the petitioner-Hospital on the respondent portal, in the interest of justice and equity; and b) Grant of such other relief/s in support of the main relief as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30453 WP No. 11464 of 2026 and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Representation dated 27.03.26 at Annexure-J has not been considered by respondent No.2 till date and it is in that background that the aforesaid reliefs have been sought for. 5. Whenever any representation is submitted to a Public Authority, it is required for the said Public Authority to consider the same and pass necessary orders within a reasonable period of time either accepting or rejecting the request made. 6. In the present case, the request by way of Representation having been made on 27.03.2026 is still pending consideration by respondent No.2 and the same cannot be said to be reasonable. 7. Hence, the following: ORDER i) Writ Petition is allowed. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30453 WP No. 11464 of 2026 ii) A Mandamus is issued, directing respondent No.2 to consider the Representation dated 27.03.2026 at Annexure-J of the petitioner and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
