JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court calling in question the proceedings in C.C.No.5531/2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 279, 304(A) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Sections 180 and 181 of the Indian Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. 2. Heard Sri. Narasimharaju, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. Sowmya R. learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.1. 3. Respondent No.2 is the complainant. The petitioner and respondent No.2 are said to have had relationship for over 2 years. The relationship was physical, as well. The allegation is that the physical relationship between the two was on the pretext of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17797 CRL.P No. 3365 of 2026 marriage and the promise of marriage having been broken, the crime has emerged. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the proceedings in C.C.No.5531/2018 is eight years old and the concerned Court has gone on adjourning the matter, without any rhyme or reason. 5. In that light, the prayer being innocuous to be granted to the petitioner, the concerned Court shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings, within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. 6.
