1 2026:CGHC:11991-DB NAFR HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH AT BILASPUR CRMP No. 731 of 2026 Sanjeev Mishra S/o Ramlal Mishra Aged About 38 Years R/o Devpuri Amlidih, Raipur (C.G.) ... Respondent(s) For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Janu Khare, Advocate For Respondent(s) : Mr. S.S. Baghel, Government Advocate Hon'ble Shri Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice Hon'ble Shri Ravindra Kumar Agrawal , Judge Judgment on Board Per Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice 13.03.2026 1. Heard Mr. Janu Khare, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S.S. Baghel, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent No.1 / State. MANPREET KAUR Digitally signed by MANPREET KAUR Date: 2026.03.17 11:42:52 +0530 2 2. The petitioner has filed this petition praying for following relief:- “It is therefore the petitioner most humbly to pray to this Hon’ble High Court to kindly plead to pass an order for quashing the FIR, charge-sheet and criminal proceeding initiated against him.” 3. From a perusal of the relief clause, it transpires that the petitioner has failed to mention the necessary particulars of the impugned FIR and charge-sheet, such as the date of registration, the specific offences alleged, the name of the concerned Police Station where the FIR has been registered, as well as the criminal case number in which the proceedings have been initiated against him. The omission of such material details reflects that the prayer has been drafted in a vague, casual and sketchy manner, which not only renders the relief sought uncertain but also results in unnecessary wastage of the valuable time of the Court. 4. In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioner pray to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh. 5. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to file petition afresh, subject to depositing a sum of Rs. 1,000/- as cost by the petitioner in the Registry of this Court and the same shall be transmitted to the Government Multi Handicapped Special School, Bagbahra, District- Mahasamund (C.G.), for wasting the precious time of this Court. 3 6. Certified copy of the documents annexed in the petition, if any, may be returned back to the counsel for the petitioner after obtaining the photocopy of the same, subject to deposit of the fine amount.
