learned counsel for the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there was an altercation between family members resulting in injuries on both sides. The petitioners’ side also received serious injuries.
Learned counsel for the de facto complainant strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the injuries were inflicted with sharp cutting weapons on vital parts of the body of the victim, like the head and the face.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and relies on the case diary. He refers to the statements of witnesses and the injury reports. Three persons were injured. One of the injury reports shows a tibial fracture and grievous facial injuries and the other one shows a serious lacerated injury on the head. Considering the above, the other materials available in the case diary and the fact that there are allegations and counter allegations and that the petitioner No.3 is 78 year old and the petitioner No.4 is a female member of the household, while I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner Nos.3 and 4, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner Nos.1, 2 and 5 (Rabbekul Islam @ Rabbekul Sekh, Shukur Sekh @ Shukur Mahammad and Babu Sekh @ Sadekul Islam) is rejected. In the event of arrest, the petitioner Nos.3 and 4 (Mujam Sekh @ Mojammel Haque and Chanmani Khatun @ Chandmani Bibi) shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023 and on the further conditions that the petitioner Nos.3 and 4 shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.
3 The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
