By way of the present petition, the petitioner is aggrieved by the information dated 20.04.2026 supplied by the office of Land Records and Revenue, Collector Office, Bemetara, in relation to 2 the transfer of lands belonging to her grand-parents after their demise, wherein it has been stated that the record of transfer of their lands has not been registered and the relevant records are not available. 3. Following reliefs have been prayed in this petition:- “10.1 This Hon'ble court be pleased to summon the entire record pertaining to the present case from the office of revenue lan d record collector office Bemetara for its kind perusal by issuing a writ of certiorari, 10.2 After perusal of record further be pl eased to direct the respondents to supply the copy of transfer register of the land Khasara No. 497, 217/15, 214/6 and 306/9 from the year 1977 to 1990 as s ought by the petitioner on 25.03.2026 of village Temari present Patwari Halka No. 37 revenue circle Maro Tehsil Bemetara District Durg (present district- Bemetara) of the lands belonging to Ghunu S/o Meghwa and also of the lands belonging to Smt. Kachra Bai W/o Ghunu numbered as Khasra No. 214/6 and 107/7 of the same village by issuing a writ of mandamus and 10.3 In case the transfer record of the above said land is missing, the collector / R-1 may kindly be directed to enquire the matter and rectify the concerned land record in the ends of justice. 10.4 Any appropriate writ, direction or order may also kindly be passed which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and appropriate in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice.” 3 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance raised by the petitioner appears to require adjudication by the concerned Collector, as it is alleged that certain records have been misplaced and the certified copies thereof have not been supplied to the petitioner despite request. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that, as and when any application/representation is filed by the petitioner before the competent authority, the same shall be duly considered and appropriate action shall be taken thereon in accordance with law. 6. I have learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 7. Considering the aforesaid aspect of the matter, the concerned Collector, Bemetara, is directed to enquire into the matter and redress the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law. The petitioner is further directed to file an appropriate application/representation before the concerned Collector within a period of 15 days from today. Upon receipt of such application/representation, the concerned Collector shall consider and decide the same expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days, in accordance with law. 4 8. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and all issues are left open to be decided by the competent authority. 9.
