Sri.K.B.Monesh Kumar, counsel accepts notice for respondents No.1 & 2. 2. The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (i) Directing the Respondents to consider the Representations dated 20-06-2024 and 03-09-2024 vide Annexures-E and F (ii) And to comply with the order dated 22-4-2024 passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.38827/2013(GM-BWSSB) vide Annexure-D (iii) Direct the Respondents to deduct the amount already remitted by the Petitioner towards monthly Bills raised by the Respondents since from November 2013 till this date and direct the Respondents not to claim the interest over the arrears or dues under OTS scheme and/or (iv) Consider the Reply dated 20-05-2026 submitted by the Petitioner vide Annexure-J (v) Grant such other relief or reliefs, issue such other direction or directions, pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit it grant in favour of the petitioner under the facts and circumstances of the above writ petition in the interest of justice and equity. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29595 WP No. 16609 of 2026 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the representations submitted by the petitioner on 20.06.2024 and 03.09.2024 at Annexures-E and F have not been considered by the respondents so also the reply submitted by the petitioner on 20.5.2026 at Annexure-J has not been considered. 4. Whenever any representation is submitted by a citizen to a statutory authority like the BWSSB, it is required for the statutory authority to consider the same and pass necessary orders within a reasonable period of time either accepting or rejecting the request made. In the present case, the request having been made in the year 2024 has continued to remain pending which cannot be said to be reasonable. Hence, I pass the following: ORDER i) The Writ Petition is allowed. ii) Respondents are directed to consider the representations of the Petitioner dated 20.06.2024 and 03.09.2024 at Annexures-E and F within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29595 WP No. 16609 of 2026 iii) Until then, the respondents are restrained from disconnecting the water and sanitary connection to the property of the petitioner.
