The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 232 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 366 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He next submits that false allegations are made that this petitioner has gone on bolero vehicle along with Santosh Kumar @ Santosh Kumar Verma and the petitioner happens the wife of the informant. He submits that allegation of taking her ornaments is also false. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be provided to the petitioner. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the witnesses have supported the prosecution case and the petitioner is not co-operating in the investigation and further the allegations are also there of taking away the ornaments of [ 2026:JHHC:24723] -2- other family members. On this ground, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected. 5. In the FIR, there is allegation against this petitioner of fleeing away with one Santosh Kumar @ Santosh Kumar Verma along with the ornaments and the ornaments of other family members and further in the similar circumstance, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the similarly situated co-accused has already been rejected by this court in A.B.A. No. 4658 of 2026 and the petitioner is not co-operating in the investigation. 6. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, above named. Accordingly, her prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
