Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has filed a Memo today which reads as under: MEMO 1. The above writ petition is filed challenging the order of Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, Bangalore in Appeal No. 807/2015 dt: 31-03-2017, whereunder the Tribunal has confirmed the order of Prescribed officer/Assistant Commissioner, Shivamogga - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29168 WP No. 30013 of 2018 rejecting the Form No.7A filed under section 77A of Karnataka Land Reforms Act by the petitioner in respect of 1 acre 21 guntas of land in Sy. No. 98/1 of Kudli Village as not maintainable as the land is inam land. 2. The petitioner submits that in view of Government notification No. RD58LRA2021 dt: 15-02-2022 extending time and permitting filing of application in form No.1, the petitioner filed application in form No.1 in time for the said 1 acre 21 guntas of land in Sy No. 98/1 and in view of notification bearing No. 310LRA2024 dt:28-04-2025, conferring power on the Land Tribunal as the authority to consider such application, the said application in form No.1 was placed before Tribunal. After holding enquiry the Land Tribunal, Shivamogga by an order 04-03-2026, passed in case No. INA.CR.02/2022-23 granted occupancy right for the said land in question in favour of petitioner as per copy of which is produced herewith. 3. Wherefore, in the above facts and circumstances, the competent Authority/Land Tribunal having granted occupancy right for the said land, the consideration of the form No.7A and impugned orders passed thereon does not arise for consideration. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29168 WP No. 30013 of 2018 4. Wherefore, it is prayed that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to dispose of the above writ petition as not surviving for consideration in terms of this memo, in the ends of justice and equity. 2. As noted above, since the petitioner has approached competent authority by filing appropriate application, I am of the view that, no interference is called for in this Writ Petition. 3.
